Michigan state Representative Tim Melton will step down from his position to become a lobbyist for Students First. Melton was the July 2011 DFER Reformer of the Month.
DFER (and Stand for Children) both endorsed the same three candidates in the upcoming Denver Public Schools school board race. Both groups will file financial reports in mid October.
According to the New York Charities website, Education Reform Now filed another 3 month extension for their 2010 990 form. It should be available in mid November.
